Asplenium ‘Bulbiferum’

This fern species is native to Australia and New Zealand; also known as the Hen and Chicken Fern. Asplenium bulbiferum thrives in many areas from shade to partial sunlight; and is also appropriate and common as an indoor plant; potted into containers; or in hanging baskets. If planted in the garden; Asplenium bulbiferum is suitable for moist sandy; loamy and clay soils ensuring that some organic matter added to create some richness to the soil. Asplenium bulbiferum is relatively low maintenance. Water well until established. Height or .5 – 1.2 metres to approx 1 metre wide.
