Austroderia richardii – South Island Toe Toe
A large; fast-growing tussock with coarse green foliage. Highly versatile; it is ideal for revegetation; erosion control; and as low shelter on both wet and dry sites. Creamy white flower heads reach 2–3 m and appear from December to January. Performs well under pivot irrigation and is hardy in a range of conditions. H2x2m
