Gardenia radicans – one of the most popular scented plants for protected gardens. This groundcover variety produces stunning; pure double white flowers around 3 cm across; with a delicious fragrance. Tolerates light shade to full sun; but performs best in sheltered shade. Ideal for containers or planting under large trees. Requires protection from cold winds; mature plants tolerate light frosts only. Prefers a warm; sheltered position in humus-rich; acidic; well-drained soil.
