Magnolia ‘Strawberry Fields’

This outstanding hybrid produces large; vibrant strawberry-red flowers in early spring and begins flowering from a young age. With its upright; columnar form; it is particularly well-suited as a street tree or feature planting. Deciduous and not native to New Zealand; Magnolia ‘Strawberry Fields’ is a cross between Magnolia ‘Pegasus’ and Magnolia ‘Vulcan’. It was bred by Ian Baldick in Drury; New Zealand.
