Viburnum Carlesii ‘Aurora’

An attractive deciduous shrub with dark green leaves that turn rich wine-red to muted purple in autumn. In late winter to spring; clusters of fragrant white flowers open from red buds; filling the garden with a spicy-sweet scent. Blue-black berries follow the flowers; adding seasonal interest. Thrives in sun or part shade and well-drained soil; and tolerates dry conditions once established. Very hardy to cold and frost. Ideal for shrub borders or planting near paths and patios where the fragrance can be enjoyed.
