Quick growing tall narrow tree that is outstanding for shelter. The aromatic olive-like leaves are long and narrow; dull green above and silvery white underneath. Bears small; white; scented flowers in spring. Frost-tender when young; but grows best if protected from hard frosts even when mature. Height 8x3m
