This slow growing form has the most amazing leaves a stunning variegated pattern; the new foliage with colours ranging from white; to pink and dark green makes such an attractive tree it should be planted more often.

Acer pseudoplatanus Esk Sunset is a relatively new form and originated right here in New Zealand. Growing to around 8m tall; this form of Acer pseudoplatanus does need planting in a suitable location; the leafs can scorch if in full sun and in exposed spots wind can burn the leaf; having said that careful planning is well worth the effort to achieve amazing effect that you get from this stunning Maple.
