Myosotidium hortensia (Chatham Island forget-me-not); also known as kopakopa; is an iconic and threatened megaherb native to New Zealand’s remote Chatham Islands. Renowned for its spectacular oversized; glossy emerald-green leaves; this striking perennial creates a bold architectural statement in the garden. In late spring; clusters of brilliant sky-blue flowers emerge above the foliage; adding a vivid burst of colour.

Best grown in a sheltered position with rich; moisture-retentive; free-draining soil; it thrives in coastal gardens; shaded borders; or large containers. A truly unique New Zealand native; prized for its dramatic foliage; rarity; and year-round presence.
