Nothofagus fusca 4L red

Red Beech / Tawhairaunui is a handsome New Zealand native evergreen tree; recognised for its small; sharply toothed leaves with distinctive reddish veins. In dry periods and through winter; the foliage develops rich red tones with a glossy; leathery appearance. An excellent choice for screening; shelter; or formal hedging; responding well to trimming. Hardy and long-lived.
