A handsome New Zealand native evergreen tree; admired for its small; sharply toothed leaves highlighted by distinctive reddish veins. During dry periods and through winter; the foliage deepens to rich red tones with a glossy; leathery finish; creating beautiful year-round interest.

Dense; hardy; and long-lived; it responds well to trimming; making it an excellent choice for screening; shelter; formal hedging; or as a stately specimen tree. A superb native option for adding structure; colour; and character to the landscape.

Grows approximately 8m high x 4m wide.
