Tiny white fragrant flowers appear amid its stunning; dark glossy foliage in June and continue to waft; on the winter air a lovely vanilla fragrance. In late winter; small red berries appear. Plant in pots; flanking a shady entranceway; in drifts throughout a woodland garden or use as fragrant hedge near the patio. Loves to trimmed – 40cm to 1m. Unclipped-1.8m. Dry dappled or deep shade. Frost hardy- may drop leaves in very severe conditions.
