Thryptomene ‘Calycina’

Delightful compact shrub with arching branches and dense glossy green aromatic leaves. Masses of pink buds open to white; starry; scalloped flowers with a red eye throughout spring. Excellent for floral work. Best in sun or semi-shade; in a sheltered site. Needs soil with good drainage. Hardy to cold; but avoid heavy frost. Grows naturally on rocky mountain slopes in Victoria; Australia. Height 1x1m
