A medium-sized; spreading deciduous shrub reaching 3m x 3m. It features ovate; attractively veined leaves that develop rich purple tones in autumn. In summer; it bears flat; lacecap clusters of creamy-white flowers that age to pink; often followed by red berries maturing to black.
